A cheery blog title hey?
However something I have been thinking about for a little while is that their is some kind of 'pain' associated with EVERY choice in life.
People often avoid getting into the gym because they think it will be hard.
Contrary to what social media tells you these days it WILL be hard.
Your body will hurt, your heart rate will rise, you will probably feel nervous the first time you go (all of which are the reasons people train with experts like us but that's a story for another day) and it might even cost more money than you would like it too.
I'm just being honest!
But then you think, what is the alternative?
Hurting everyday getting out of bed, getting ill easier than you'd like and not feeling confident about yourself are equally as painful.
We are trained as humans to see 'pain' as purely bad but sometimes it is the price of admission to a better life and it just shows us we are alive.
To be clear I am not neccesarily talking about physical pain (the gym shouldn't be at 100% all the time) but more just the general discomfort that comes with change.
*A lot of these ideas came to me while listening to the recent Modern Wisdom podcast with Alex Hormozi which I would highly recommend.
P.S. Elevate98 members have something VERY exciting coming up soon. Our 'Summer's Over Shred' challenge is about to launch.
6 Weeks of accountability and support on habits and nutrition to get back in gear alongside a like minded group.
We will launch more information towards the end of the week but if you'd like to know more simply reply S.O.S.
